Challenge Courses

About eight years ago while based in Missouri I was introduced to Tim Eberle, creator of The Leadership Ranch and the Ropes / Challenge / Team Building / Leadership Course concept. The powerful insights and lessons discovered through an assortment of ground level problems solved and/or high climbing elements conquered are fascinating. Each course has a primary facility; satellite locations; offer various outdoor activities like kayak trips and hiking explorations; include natural and animal experiences; and can bring many elements indoors to your school, office or convention/training site.

These are "challenge by choice" programs, not boot camp. Every participant is encouraged to match their participation to their abilities. Transformation sparked by this type of experiential learning spans the human spectrum from school kids to corporate executives, athletes and the disabled; transcending race, religion, politics, or cultural backgrounds.

Now that I'm in Florida I facilitate at several great courses for very safe, effective and professional groups including Greg Affleck's TRAC program at Florida International University. I am prepared to endorse courses in Missouri, Florida, Maine, and Challenge U based in San Diego California.

I may elaborate more later, for now I'll let these pictures do the talking. One last point: while this may look fun, even thrilling the lasting impact days, months, years after the course that is not seen in these pictures is where the value exists. Of course ... participants still have a blast!
